VICTORIA CHACHA SOKORO

"My name is VICTORIA CHACHA SOKORO, and I was born in the year 2004 on the 8th day of January. I was born at the Mara Regional Hospital. In that year, doctors discovered that I had a heart problem, meaning that my heart had a hole. They advised that by the time I turned five, I should be taken to India for comprehensive treatment. When I reached the age of five, I started attending KAMBARAGE Primary School in Musoma Town and continued up to the seventh grade. In 2016, on the 6th day of December, the illness I had worsened. I started fainting and experiencing severe chest pains, which led to me leaving school. In 2017, on the 7th day of December, I began treatment at Bugando Hospital in Mwanza. The doctors conducted tests, prescribed medication, and initiated clinics. I continued with the medication until December 21, 2021, when I was given a referral letter to go to MUHIMBILI Hospital in DAR ES SALAAM. At that time, my parents were going through conflicts, and since my mother did not have enough money, I couldn't go for treatment. In June 2023, on the 22nd day, I went to MUHIMBILI Hospital for essential treatment. I stayed there for a month, and on August 7, at 9:09 am, I was taken to the operating room. After completing the treatment, I encountered the EDUCO EMPOWERMENT ORGANIZATION in September 2023. The organization helped me return to school and continue my studies, which I had left for five years. I express my gratitude to the leadership of the organization for advocating for my dreams. "

SAIDI SWED

"My name is SAIDI SWED, I was born in 1999 in the URAMBO district of the TABORA region. I began my primary education in 2006 and completed it in 2013. I proceeded to secondary education in 2014 at Kapilula Secondary School, I completed in 2018. During my secondary school years, my parents separated due to family conflicts, leading me to live with my stepmother in Mwanza ,when my father traveled to work in Iringa. However, I faced challenges, and my stepmother eventually expelled me from home, forcing me to become a street child and disrupting my education. It was during this time that I encountered the organization called EDUCO EMPOWERMENT ORGANIZATION in 2019. They provided me with the opportunity to continue my high education, and I successfully completed it in 2022 under the organization's supervision. I am currently awaiting admission to a university, still under the care of this organization. "
